    No doubt it is a lot like when I lived in the UP of MI. Mostly wild land there. Some flat land and some not so flat. Lots of waterfalls. Views of the Great Lakes; Superior and Michigan and sometimes a bit of Huron. I never tired of being along the great lakes. Never tired of the small rivers and waterfalls. Never tired of endless woods, etc. But now, boy do I ever miss it. So to enjoy it we have to take a vacation.

    I love it when the splits come out in nice geometric shapes! Nice firewood and stacking job. As always, I'm impressed with the miniature spar pole and splitter. Are we looking at a lake or salt chuck? I have a friend who was a geologist who loved to look at the clouds below because it made him think of how an ice age must have looked!
