    GREAT NEWS.... The Firewood Hoarders Club TV Channel is NOW AVAILABLE in the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store !!!!!!!

    Looks like things are hotting up for FHC TV here in the UK !!!!


    @Jack the Knife - FYI the PRIVATE CHANNEL is ALSO AVAILABLE here BUT, now that it's available as a public channel via the Roku UK Channel Store, I WON'T PUBLISH THE CODE so you can keep it as a test channel for future improvements.


    Look out for a mention THIS COMING SUNDAY (12th January) in the 'Weekly RoundUp' of new additions to the Roku UK Channel Store, which will be PUBLISHED via my UK Roku Channels blog AT:-

    Please forgive the shameless self-promotion of my blog :emb: for a moment... it's just I figured some of you may like to check it out at some point.     Great news, indeed! Thanks for helping me correct a problem I didn't even know we had (didn't realise it defaulted to US only). Don't judge us too harshly, look more at some of the made for the channel productions I am working on now, specifically the Winter Safety video andThe Reason We Really Cut Firewood video that should be out by the time you get up Friday morn (or maybe Thursday morn if things go smoothly). Yes, I have factored in the time change.

    Can one of you mods supply out friend with the Facebook page? Pete, can you give him your official Youtube page? I'm on the mobile right now or I would.

    Here is the link to our youtube videos. We don't mind if you link them to Roku or Firewood hoarders Club youtube. I rather you not chop them up and use them with any thing else. Or at least let us know what you want to combine them with. They aren't very long segments. I am just learning how to take videos, never mind doing any editing with them.

    Well, what I am working on now is a response to Pete's thread, "Why I really Cut Firewood." It's just over 14 minute of me talking, telling my wood burning story and why I burn wood. After I got done yacking I began mixing in muted clips of videos of myself and other, interspersed with photos, trying to match as close as I can to what is being conveyed in the audio track.

    Good job on the video Jack, down to earth great reason to heat with wood. Involving your family and teaching your kids how to work and have pride in what they do. Saving money and creative ways to find firewood.
