Yes, she's getting it tomorrow morning. Prob won't be able to play with it until the day after however. I will have to make sure it's hooked up and working properly. Of course.
Of course. If you haven't already, go to Roku.com and sign up for an account. That will make it easier to get it up and running.
She doesn't know there's a FHC channel, or that I'm on Roku. Some things are best left for her to discover on her own. Hoping she gets hooked on it before she discovers FHC TV.
29 reviews so far have us at a 4/5 star rating and 1929 installs since Monday. It's been a good week!
Jack did you get any good videos on seasoning? I am still searching for a good one for the youtube channel.
This is the best I found that wasn't copyrighted. Think someone just needs to set a camera down in front of Dennis to make the definitive video on the subject.
Yep, now we just have to make the quality content to keep them interested. Going to get an outline for my What You Should Be Doing video for January done by Monday so I can start piecing it together. I might be sending some of you guys requests to use clips from you videos in this series of vids.
If you check out wranglerstar, he has a bunch of good stuff too. Long, descriptive videos, makes my content look bad
I don't need to be waiting by my phone jack I have nothing you would want unless you want a video on how to NOT tune a saw or what a FAT saw sounds like.
Added more videos fro mrwhoopee, clemsonfor, dexter day, Scotty overkill, and MasterMech. Up to 2103 viewers.
Come to think of it I should give you my youtube. There isn't much there but I am gonna make some vids first chance I get. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4U1WWcQKHoRKIPJ6ahHRVA
Installed on 2,641 accounts now. Pete, any way we can edit the first post of this thread so I can add urls, screenshots and such so people don't have to search the whole thread for those?
10 days now, FHC-TV was the last channel approved before Roku's holiday shutdown when means all this time we've been listed at the top of the new channels pape. 4,474 installs so far.
Hello, everyone !! Great to see a channel such as this being developed & glad it's doing well for you. I'm in the UK, where we also have Roku players and firewood, although (as yet) this new 'FHC TV' channel hasn't been made available to UK Roku owners. For that reason, I decided to post a request via this forum for 'Jack the Knife' to extend the coverage area for this channel so that Roku owners outside of the USA can also enjoy & learn from the content featured on it. All it would take is a simple edit of "Channel Stores" within the Roku channel package for any/all other Roku player regions (i.e. Canada, Ireland, UK & Rest of World) to benefit from the addition of your channel to their Roku Channel Store. Once the change has been made, you just need to submit a new version of the channel (i.e. if it was version 1.0 originally, then submit version 1.1 with the changes applied) and (preferably) email someone at Roku to let them know about the change so that they can process it a bit quicker. After that, your channel will be available to a much wider audience than just the USA alone. @ Jack the Knife - If you are unsure of how to go about making this change, feel free to PM me and I can send you step-by-step instructions for doing so. Having been through the process with several other Roku channel developers already, I'm fairly well versed in what is needed !! PLEASE NOTE:- Our Roku Channel Store categories are not as extensive as those in the USA and, as a result, WE DO NOT HAVE a "Fitness & Outdoors" category so, as well as editing the "Channel Stores", you'll need to allocate a 1st choice (and, preferably, a 2nd choice) Roku UK Channel Store category for your channel to appear in for each additional Roku region that you add your channel to. My own recommendation(s) for a Roku UK Channel Store category would be to opt for either "Special Interest" or, perhaps, "Internet TV" as the most appropriate ones, given the content of your channel. For the record, the full complement of available UK genres (i.e. categories) is as follows:- Film & TV Games News, Weather, Sport Music Internet TV Photos & Video International Food Special Interest Screensavers & Apps Religion & Spirituality ... and that's all there are to choose from, when it comes to the Roku UK Channel Store !! Anyway, I hope you'll be able to come through for us on this and look forward to watching the wealth of content on my UK Roku player(s) just as soon as you are able to effect the necessary changes. Thanks for your time & I wish you every success with the channel going forward. Kind regards, RM [aka The Channel Guide]
