I understand it's the same form. I remember that, so strange "WHY" that needs to be done in this state! I can't wait to leave here!!! It seems like it didn't take as long all the way back when I got mine! With computers it should only be a couple days! Hell, we can send a man to the moon in less than three days, why should this take so dam long!!!
I can check off the SR-22's off my list. Found a 4.5" for $285 on GB, they're over 4 locally. And a "Lady Lilac" for the wife. On to the rest of the list. Anyone else making any headway on their lists?
Love my sr22. Good price on yours! As far as my list, the last 3 parts for my 9mm ar build will be here tomorrow. I'm excited. 300aac is next up.
I handled every 22 pistol in the gun shop and the sr22 was my favorite by a mile. I want one...but not sure if it would get shot much.
You'd end up enjoying it much more than you'd think. The shop I got the 4.5" one from has already listed another one for the same price. They're doing 1-day auctions, probably to test the waters for interest. [email protected]- you probably have to do the G.B. thing though.
I love the 1911s but a 9mm, idk. When buying any 1911 it's not because the gun is cheap, but when buying a 9mm it's usually partly because the ammo is cheap. Why buy and expensive gun that takes cheap ammo. Seems like buying a Corvette that runs on used fryer oil.....
Purchase a quality tool that functions on inexpensive fodder. Hmmm, what's not to like? I am at a loss as to the reasoning? I have a .454 SRH. For damm sure I'm not giving it .454 as a steady diet. .45 LC is 90% of what goes down range. A lady I shoot with has a Springfield 1911 9mm. It's a fine little thing, just not right for her. Less cost for ammo allows you to shoot more. As simple as that, and the 9mm is adequate for defense usage.
I like those too, but there have been some reliability issues if you check out some of the gun forums.
Same here but if you want to shoot a few hundred rounds in an afternoon, the 9mm isn'tgonna break the bank like the .45.
I'm reloading .45acp with Ibejihead 230g bullets, winchester primers, and winchester 231 for 18 cents each...... hard to find 9mm that cheap.....
Its hard enough for me to find time to shoot rounds, let alone reload them. I hope to someday, but its going to be a while.
I am thinking about building a 6.8 SPC upper for my AR and taking it deer hunting in Maine this year.
