I'm hoping the cook will fry up a batch tomorrow night. We couldn't get him to wear his bass pro hat, he kept throwing it down.

Only called a jake up this year. Good land is the key to success in turkey hunting g well and setup. I am not every successful but my neighbor property draws all the birds from me. And public land birds are finicky!!!

Dont do as much as I use too.

 

I went last weekend and had 3 gobbling from the tree, but as soon as they hit the ground they shut up. Must have been hen'd up. I'm going again Saturday but I'm not optimistic.
