Log Ox = not so good : at least for me. Some might like their stuff but I found it clumsy and heavy.

Husky tongs = excellent for me.

Log Rite for a cant hook or pickaroon NOT Log Ox.

    Just my 2 cent review.

I use the tools to save not only my back . Even more to save my hands. Tore up hands gets old and tiring after 5+ decades of tore up hands. !

I can attest to the efficiency of the hookaroon in putting strategic drain holes in the bed of the pickup.

Try not to swing So hard !!
If the point is to blunt to stick easily, spend some time with a file.
You should be able to Set it with just a flick of the wrist !

They are definitely sharp! My helper gets a bit aggressive at times and the dry logs can be a bit tough to get out.

Not to bring it off topic but that's a nice one to try. At least I'd be using that for a zombie fighter.:wacky:although I'd like the spike to be double that size perhaps.

I can only imagine that would be a great tool. Saves wear on your gloves as well.

I'm 6'4" and the fiskars hookaroon works well for me. I like that it's light, it sticks in logs pretty well. Really dense dry wood like locust you might need to take a second whack to get it to stick in. What I find is that you have to let off a bit so it doesn't get stuck too far in. Otherwise it takes a little more time to get the pick out of the wood.

Yeah, that could definitely happen. I will use it on the trailer, but not my nice truck.
