Chinazon . I bought 2, one for the splitter and one for my generator. Same one fit both. Back on the hydro filter, I use those neodymium magnets. the little circle ones. I use them on my oil filters on my vehicles. Brad Buzz-saw brought up a great point about using magnets on the filter. So those little ones will work well too if you have any laying around.
A little with both of you in Ct as well. going blame it on the coffee taking longer to kick in this am. I realized after I posted that I probably called you by the wrong name. my apologies
No problem here. When I signed on here with my user name I had no clue there was a buZZsawBRAD , as time went on Brad introduced himself being from Ct. Then it went to both being from New Haven County. From there it went to the town of North Haven where we both live. On to we both live a mile from each other. And his landloard is the father of an old friend from school. Small world! We have become friends through this forum since the whole thing started.
Not at all. Be faithful on your oil changes and it shouldn't be an issue. Most engines in the 6ish HP range do not have filters. Not having an oil pump and relying on splash lubrication there is no way to have a filter without a pump.
It was the older Country Line (2016) before the fast line. I think it was still built by Speedco. Worked well and never gave us an issue in 5.5 years of use.
Congratulations on the new splitter. I think you will like it. We have the bigger brother, 30 ton fast cycle. Got it new in '18. Split a lot of wood with it. Had to replace the valve, detent quit working, they replaced it free. Need to change the seals now...
I got the lo catcher, not sure how much I'll use it, also got the 4 way wedge attachment, GAME CHANGER...
