Wow, don't usually see a 4" air intake. Thanks for the info!

That's usually for anything over 10 feet in pipe the outside air jumps up to 4" rather than 3"

Correct, only the venting opening will do either.

Have you found that the 35i air setting should be turned down a bit more? I adjusted the draft according to the manual but it seems still high.

sometimes it cant be turned down enough.....I think there's about a -25v adjustment you can make- they are usually maxxed out from the factory, but on many occasions, turning down all the way isn't even adequate to drag the draft down far enough

Yes Sir. Just picked it up yesterday. Guy said it was 5 years old and had about 5 tons through it as it was only used part time.

Thanks!!! Gonna be a part time burner in my unfinished basement. Don’t have a zone down there for FHW, wouldn’t want to burn oil to heat it anyway and would be ridiculous to run a chimney system for a wood burner up 2.5 stories just for part time heating... probably won’t be able to install it until this fall...

    Barely even broken in

That will help tremendously. My house is the same, FHW only run on the main floor. Already have a chimney for the boiler and DHW, don't want (or have room for) another chimney. Pellet stove fit the bill perfectly. Heated floors in the winter, regardless if any excess heat gets upstairs, will help with the fuel bill for heating the main floor.
