Wow looks like you keep that 661 busy.... Ya the 70cc saws are pretty good for all the firewood work.... I use my 362 more, but the 461 is priceless on those big Knarly, knotty pieces.... Also it is nice if you have to noodle one down to lift it!!!!

If I had a 461 I would also really want a small saw but a really good one like a Stihl 241 or dolmar 421 something in that range. I find small saws so darn useful.

I originally thought the vibration was a little much, maybe I'm crazy but mine seems to have softened up.
The ms290 feels like a wet noodle in comparison.

I agree with a smaller powerhead, I really looked hard at other brands, if the right deal came along I would go for a small husky, but I personally want all ergo's the same. So when I'm hot tired and daft there will hopefully be no mishandlings.

My local dealer told me that a 661 with a oregon reduced weight bar weighs less than a 461 with a regular bar, all things being equal 32 inch bars. I didnt make him get his scale out to prove it. But meebe this could be true.

For a maximun 40 or 50 cm logs not everyday but sometimes a year the 362 , 562 , 6100 is enough , not matter if you do ten minutes more or less for collecting your home fire woods , its not production line
