I remember the ad you posted I apologize, were you the male french model boyfriend? Or does she have two?
I don't pay much attention to what I eat and pretty much make the food that I like. I am conscious of some things that are a bit excessive though. For instance, I was making garlic bread when I'd cook Italian. I'd put a quarter cup of olive oil in a pan along with some garlic and spices and saturate the bread before I put it in the toaster oven. That chit sure was good, but I got to thinking, maybe this ain't so good for us, so I stopped making the garlic bread, and besides, it made a mess of the toaster oven. So I guess I do try to eat somewhat healthy. But nonetheless, I like what I like and we're both in decent shape for our age, so I'm just gonna keep eatin' what I want to eat. Here's our 'diet' so far this week Monday - Philly steak and cheese hoagies with hungarian peppers and onions. I make this once a week. Tuesday - Pot roast with sauteed brussel sprouts from the garden and mac & cheese. Tonight - 2 pizzas with pepperoni and sausage, real mozzarella cheese and a little provolone. Tomorrow - probably chicken fajitas. So for anyone looking for a healthy diet should feel free to follow my diet program. And don't be disrespecting my brussel sprouts, I saw that up-thread. I ain't no hipster, ok?
That's fine, just remember to bring whatever it is you'll be eating. All leftovers get ate the next day for lunch.
If there's any one thing we should probably cut back on, it would be cheese. I probably have 6 different kinds in the fridge right now and it gets used all the time. I keep telling her we need to cut back on the cheese eating, but we never seem to get around to it. Last week she heard on the radio that gouda tastes really good with bourbon. So I pick up a wedge of gouda at kroger and the other night when we were sitting out back, I told her go in there and git us some of that gouda. Guess what, gouda IS really good with bourbon. So now we got another freakin' cheese we're noshing on.
Not naming any names....... but someone when he was in his 20's took a deer late in the day, it was late after they finished dressing it in the garage which included many smoothies, he ate a clove of garlic. Even though he slept on the couch the entire house reeked of garlic.....
The olive oil and garlic won't hurt you. Olive oil is a "good" fat, they came up with that one recently. Greg
I like any thing that is good fat!! Well rather I just like everything!! Good and bad wifey lost a bunch of weight two year ago now I seem to be losing it just don't eat as much any more.
