Any of you ever get to Maine, be sure to include visiting some of our abundant micro brewers. Very popular now.

And yet again we have another beer thread! WooT!

New Castle brown ale is on sale this week. I see a few 12'vers in my stash. I'll need 6 for the Nationwide race and another half dozen(or so) from the cup race tomorrow. :D

Go bad brad from the pole! :p

Had plenty of them tonight, the Hubby actually took me out today. Bowling with friends and then to the bar for lots of laughs and lots of drinks. Usually stick to beer but Jack and Coke was the drink tonight :drunk:

Yes, I am quite drunk right now!

He is the best, love that man to death (that's not the alcohol talking either!)

He's not much of a computer guy though, just a good, outdoors country kind of guy who loves fishing, hunting and family. Wouldn't have him any other way!

Here's him and my boys, such a lucky lady I am!

And then there's all of us :)

Beautiful family you have there. :)

Which makes me want to dig up an old thread in the Everything Else Forum. It's a Thread I started to post a pic of you (and/or Family) so we can place a face to a member name.

Forgot to fill the pellet hopper before I left for work this morning. I came home to a cold 63 degree house. Yep, I'm a rookie! I think I need a Tshirt that says "pellet rookie" :emb:

So its working better now? Did you find any leaks and close off some of the floor registers?

Have they given you a date on a replacement?

For you to be using it? It must be working some? :) That's a good thing :)

It is working ok...we put that tape you guys were talking about on all the seams in our main duct and also on some of the other ones we could get to. We just run it on level 5 to try and get it to 70 in here. Usually stays at about 68 though. We turned our regular furnace down to 62 so it will only kick in if it gets really cold in here. I think if this setup can get us to 68 then the new one should be able to do at least 72. (I hope) we also adjusted a lot of registers and closed all the basement ones so I think that helped a little. We are trying to use up all the pellets we have before we get the new one because they are really bad. My Hubby traded his friend 15 bags and his friend gave us 13 back because he said they were too bad and he didn't want to use them in his stove. We don't really want to use them in the new one.

Question for you though...every time we start up the furnace some smoke comes out the back by the clean out tee. It isn't much, just enough to notice the smell. Can we do anything about this?

I haven't talked to my Husband yet today so I don't know what they said for a delivery date for the new one. I hope it's not too long. I want to be able to try it out while it's still cold. (I won't complain at all if it gets warm though!!!)

If you can't see where exactly it's leaking from you can try turning the lights off on startup, then.....when the stove starts smoking before the pellets ignite shine a flashlight on it and you'll be able to see exactly where the smoke is seeping from.
