343amc- Show me your burn pot. My dealer has several types of pots. He has updated them as the years passed and saved the old ones
I got several sets of free gaskets today (small gasket behind the left side clean out panel or the exhaust blower manifold/small rectangle) and alo several combustion blower gaskets.

Just saw this thread. Don't give up. Help is on the way. You were smart to find this place. Dex and the other owners of that furnace will point you in the right direction. Smart move, very smart move contacting the company. I had a dumb dumb install with my first stove. I got a lot of help. I can honestly say I would have failed without the advice found here. They helped me kick my self in the butt and get moving to correct my heating problem. We are now comfortable. Heating 2200 sq ft with a Harman pellet stove. They told me that was my best bet, that is what I did. Here I sit warm and comfy. Wife is no longer running space heaters!

Here it is. It's old style (not the beer).

I need to get a new top burn plate (that the fire burns on when doing a self clean). Mine was pretty eroded when I got it. It's not getting any better.

He has a few of the older ones, I will stop and see what I can get as far as parts go.

Almost positive I can get a burn plate.

Set me straight here. Does the 12/06 cert mean the model was certified in '06 or that particular unit?

Just for chits and giggles, is there a manufactured date there? I'd be curious to see when a unit that I paid full price for was made. If there are more recent versions with upgrades, I would think an older unit would be discounted to get it out of the dealership and off their books. Main thing though is that this is made right by the dealer and the manufacturer. Looks like both are trying to do that.

Shoot me a PM when you find out. I'd buy a whole burn pot assembly if he has the parts available. The top plate definitely needs replacing after this season, but the bottom of the pot has some small cracks that are getting bigger. It was like that when I bought it. Previous owner ran it on level 5 continuously trying to heat that big farmhouse.

My Husband talked to Fehrenheit again today. Our furnace is a 2008 model (how can we get a "brand new" furnace and have it be 6 years old?) Fehrenheit contacted our dealer and asked them about the install and told the dealer how to do it correctly.

My Husband told the dealer that we paid for a new furnace and not a 6 year old never been used furnace. The dealer is ordering us a brand new one and we will keep using this one until it comes in. I am glad they are making it right but it took a LOT of pushing to get it done right. I would not recommend these people to anybody. The problem is not with Fehrenheit (I would highly recommend them to anybody, customer service is excellent!) the problem is our dealer.

I REALLY thank each and every one of you for your input and kindness!

Dexter, I owe you big for noticing these things were not upgraded. Wish you were closer, I would buy you a beer or two!

Glad it's getting straightened out. My BIL likes mine so much, that he bought one. He is picking it up tonight. I went through and lubed every motor, greased the actuators, cleaned every orifice, and replaced EVERY gasket. It is as good as new. And I am FREEZING because I pulled it outside (my Garage lights suck). In about 15 more minutes, I will be done with outside work and will be modifying the burn pot.

I have personally talked to the people at Fahrenheit (Matt Fitts) and walked away a pleased man. They strive to always make sure the customer is happy.

Glad it's getting replaced. Glad they notified the dealer on a proper install. Keep us updated and don't be a stranger.

As for the beers you would buy? I will consider the one I am drinking now, on you. :)

Christmas Ale is my favorite. To bad it's only made for a couple months a year. :)

You should take a cue from Will and load up while the Christmas ale is available. It'll be hard to compete with what he has in his avatar though.

Ward8512 - glad to hear things are still moving forward in a positive way.

Problem is, it's not available. Only a choice select few stores have it. Just found a little honey hole yesterday. :)

They stopped production the end of Dec? Or Jan? It goes on shelves Nov 1st. Then I believe it's only produced 2 months? Can be found into the month of April at stores that stock up on it . But majority of stores lose stock after the weekly case or two stop coming in.

I hate to read about folks getting screwed over. You bought a not so new, "new stove". The seller may have pulled it off had he installed it correctly. Thanks to Dex and others you have been enlightened and have enlighten the dealer. I would wonder if Fahrenheit would give that dealer a good slap because most companies don't want and can't afford being misrepresented. Hope all this works out well for you and that your have a warm and comfortable home. Now stick around and join in for the rest of the discussions in both the pellet and firewood world.
    Dex, good show!

I've never seen that around here, but do see other Great Lakes Brewing flavors.

You're doing better than me tonight. I'm slumming it.

Picture attached to keep the thread on topic.
