I am a big fan of beer I like them all but linenkugals (not sure how to spell it) sunset wheat would be my favorite. Dang...now you made me thirsty :)

I sure hope the exhaust termination is going to cut it! Even the propane exhaust is low in my books. Looks like a Florida dwelling where there's no snow. I could see a rodent taking refuge in the off-season, just saying:whistle:

One more thing. I didn't realize there is a Fahrenheit dealer in the GB area? I thought Hawkeye Home and Hearth in Shawano was the closest?

You can keep the cold air on the west side of Lake Michigan.

Ain't gonna happen. But I had to say it.

I may have had a Leinies or two last night. :drunk: The new Orange Shandy is pretty good. I'm still a fan of the creamy dark and vanilla porter though.

Let's see. You like beer (check), you want to reduce your propane usage (check). Yep. You'll fit right in. :).

Ward while I am up at 1 am and can not sleep, it has been said many times but welcome to the forum. Here you will find the most down to earth group you could ask for. I see you like beer, so you are good to go lol. I was looking at your pictures, and while the installers are there if they disconnect your furnace for the needed repairs I would make them put some pavers under it like Dexters. Since you are on a concrete floor and there is always moisture, I would want the furnace raised up off of that. I hope everything goes well today!

My Husband spoke with the owner this morning and told him we have stopped payment on the check for the second half of the job. The contract said balance due upon completion and the job is far from complete. The owner will be getting back to us shortly to let us know what they are going to do to fix there mistakes. Good thing we are much more informed today than we were on Friday.

They came out to look at it and the guy said "we haven't installed many of these and overlooked the outside air vent"

I replied "you should have read the manual, that's what we did."

Anyway, they are fixing it now. 2 more dampers are being installed as well as the outside air vent. They have to put another section of duct work in because they can't fit a damper above our air conditioning coil to prevent the back flow. I will post pics when they are done.

Its unfortunate you had to get on them to get the job done right, but I hope everything works out in the end.

Once they get the install completed, we'll be here to help you get the most out of the furnace.

As long as they don't try to add more $$ to the job, and the unit burns as it should when they're done, it seems the install company is standing behind their work and is making things right. Good to hear.
