I have asked this very same question over the last couple of years. I don't get it, I see tons of the Echo NIB ads and an inordinate amount from hispanic sellers in Texas. I have no idea why.
Yes, I has to pay $5 each time I renewed my ad. I think that has really cut down on the number of motorcycle ads on Craigslist. It's supposed to cut down on the scammers... LOL.. maybe the slimy sellers but it hasn't slowed down the scummy buyers!!
People won't be selling on CL then if they have to pay to list it. Snowmobiles, boats, ATVs, all registered, but no $5 for a listing. It's a shame, as it just cuts down the number of used bikes for sale.
Oh it does. But if used properly, you can use it to your advantage. Especially since CL sucks even worse in some regards.
