Kevin, what are the specs? Dry weigh, powerhead only?

I did this when i had the MS360 and a 440.. both with 20" ES bars and both topped off with fuel and oil and the 036 was only 6 or 8 oz lighter

This is why I hate powerhead empty weights

Both the 361 and 036 pro felt good in my hands. Just saying. ;) My 365 372 that are 14plus felt much heavier feeling. Dont get me wrong 365 372 were some of my favs.

yeah, the 044 was considerably lighter in feel than a 365/372 with same length bar and chain. felt like a pound difference full of fuel and oil.

Yeah but it's lonely all by itself on a cold shelf in the garage while the 555 sits on the basement work bench.........;)

The 555 is really making me think I need a 545

Today, my stock MS 361 is my favorite "one saw plan" but that's partly because my MS 261cm is currently in the mail to be ported! I reserve the right to change my mind in the near future...

I built an 024 Super into an 026 for my buddy and we took it out this past Sunday. I brought my ported 260 and stock 2253 along for the ride. We sure did cut a lot of wood that day with just 50cc saws. It was a good day, I was pretty happy with the 024S/026.

As I said earlier in the thread, you can't beat a 50/70cc combo for firewooding. But, you sure can do a helluva lot with just the 50's.

555 is most likely the best 'new' firewood saw on the market.

But I do love a Ported 357xp!!! Would take it over the 562xp. Yes I have both. :)

Wow that PP 365 is almost 1 pound less then the Stihl 036. I have both saws and never realized it.
