    Yeah MikeInMa the leaves are falling in many places now. Not the big leaf drop yet but it is starting at least. We notice every day some changes. Sassafras are turning really fast now.

    I got these this past Saturday. Site was down more than it was up so this is a little late. Half bushel of honeycrisp apples. Cost all of $25. Nice to have an orchard close that offers U-Pick. DSC03539.JPG

    Fall colors are rather spotty this year. Not a lot that really sticks out, just a lot of yellows, rusts and a bunch of green yet. It rained all morning but cleared off for a bit so my wife and I went for a short walk and I got these pics in the neighborhood.

    Erik B I too have notice that there seems to be more yellows this year. Lots of our soft maples this year are yellow rather than red. They still are pretty.

    Backwoods Savage There are a lot of oak in the woods around here so not so much color with them. Still haven't had a frost yet, either.
