Thought I would start a threat where we all can share picture and other items of interest related to fall in your area. so if it pumpkin carving, leaves changing, wood piles or bugs, here is a place to share it. tx

I think it is the sun giving this color effect.
upload_2019-9-16_11-30-37.png this is taken at my cousins farm.

Beautiful. We are beginning the have leaves change down here, but I think it's more drought stress the season yet. I've seen several pines and smaller oaks dying.

This is one of my favorite fall locations. Hales Location in North Conway, NH. Golf course just beyond the gazebo, and White Horse Ledge in the back.

My inlaws have a vacation house on the 8th fairway about 100 yards to the left of this spot.

Our trip to Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont with a possible stop in upstate NY, will be perfect timing.

We're hoping to avoid the crowds, but still see the beautiful scenery.

It's the scenery that brings the crowds.

Enjoy the trip. I know I do, regardless of the time of year.

Horkn Does that mean you won't be making it to La Crosse for Octoberfest this year?

Probably not. We've got enough of those Oktoberfest's around here, so I'll not really be missing anything. We have one here in my then and it's getting nearly as big as the other huge festivals that we have. For Strawberry festival, we have as many people as summerfest does, in a much smaller area.

We're not right downtown though, and are in the rural part of town. Close enough, but far enough away.

Last weekend we headed to East Jordan, Mi for a gtg. I expected to see lots of color and there was...in spots. The sumac was especially beautiful. Sad that I did not get any pictures, but that seems to be normal with me... Still plenty of green around here. We do have some good color with cherry and soft maple here at home but nothing fantastic yet.

Below is a picture almost everyone loves and I have it as a background on the computer.

Yeah, I figured you should have great colors now. Wanted to get up there but it's not going to happen this fall.

Both of us. The mower has been a pain in the azz all summer. First very wet spring and our property is on the side of a hill with a lot of springs. So takes awhile to dry out. We both hate it the mower. Then it has had issues. He just gets it back up and running and mow the front yard and now has started throwing belts. So it is parked before it gets driven down the bank. lol
