    Mid-October is when I bring in the feeders.

    A soak in diluted bleach, and they're ready for storage.

    I don't use hummingbird feeders. They like the Canna plants and spend a lot of time feeding there. Early in the season they like the bee balm.

    I took our feeder down in July after only 3 sightings since May. I've seen a couple lately at the potted red flowers out front. Migrating I assume.

    I have a large patch of red bee balm, still with blooms. It's entertaining to watch them go from one flower shoot to the next.
