    That's a good arrangement there.

    Another load home today.

And, the main trunk of the first two trees.....beginning to rot. The wood splits well, but is a bit lighter than the wet stuff. I'm not sure I'll take it, but I guess it will burn just the same...perhaps I'll mark it for SS wood somehow.
the trailer loaded to the top of the sides is half a cord, so over 2 cord brought home so far.

    Nice score!

I use my fiskars pickeroon lots. Rolling rounds, unloading pickups. Some use it to carry rounds, driving the tip into a cut end. Me, not so much.

    Hoard on!

Stumpy an I headed out the the Ash score today.
my friend had picked up a maul and axe (fiskars both) and had split some wood.
I split maybe three logs to top off the trailer, but there was half a cord of split wood piled and waiting for us.

We came home with and easy 2/3 cord of wood.

I went to My dad's house, and cut three trees that were dead. all oak, all out of easy reach of trailer, and most of it rotted to the edge of usefulness.
But, with a good line and tension on each, they all fell where I (we) wanted them!

Nothing brought home but the results of time with Dad, and the conversation had.

Dad and dog. That is the 3rd tree of the day. The tops of all three shattered on impact.
