Fahrenheit flame height!

I use a Lux TX500E here. Just two wires.

Haven't logged on in a few days (screaming busy at work) and I haven't been getting emails from the site. Looks like I missed all the fun.

 

A jumper put on the R & W and still idling on T-stat mode

 

Trying #4 right now.

 

Auger on for 4-5sec and off for7-8sec.

 

Is that better than before?

 

If you press and hold the manual auger feed button (below the down arrow, up and to the right of the power button), do you see a decent amount of pellets heading into the burn pot? You should be able to get the flames of h*ll in the pot if you manually run the auger. If not, I might suspect something with the motor, a jam of some type, etc.

Not a lot of pellets dropping down the chute, 2rpm auger.

 

The auger was replaced with a avery/gleason 2rpm same as the M/K oem which had some slop in the drive. No increase of speed as demand was called for.

 

There's a fair amount of pellets added to the fire pot to start the first flame. I make sure the flame is on for awhile to help build up the required temperature before re-pushing start. Then I activate the manual auger to keep the flame intensity on the high side to prevent a shut-down on proof of flame. Then it carries on it's own but the flame gradually diminishes to the idle or #1 as everyone calls it. Adding a thermostat would be the same as a jumper but intermittently. So we know it will not go in a higher heat level in T-stat mode or in manual mode.

 

I was thinking of the same thing but I'm using Cubex HWD's and they're not too bad. There's the odd one that's long but mostly good size. The house was 80F this morning and 14F outside. The flame seemed to be a little higher and the Harman idling in the background now it's off. There's another Fahrenheit burner 2 hrs from me having heat issues this year. He uses different pellets than me(Ambiance). I do not know the details of his story. Maybe he might chime in as I gave him a link to this forum.

It look like the guy in your fire might be causing the issue? Might tell him that fire will melt a camera.

 

I'll tell him right away to get out of the fire before he gets burnt. Thank for the heads up. Geez, I now have to put a fence around my furnace before a lawsuit comes my way

 

Only the furnace working and its 81F in the house and 0F outside with lots of wind. Maybe the Fahrenheit is working after all. The flame height is just above the burn pot and the fan on low. Maybe it's the pellets that's giving me fits. We don't have the good ones up here Going down to -22F tonight so hoping I'll be ok

I can grab another pic of how the flame looks when the stat isn't calling for heat.

 

There's nobody in your fire, must be good pellets! I see in the pic your heat level is at #5 & on T-stat mode. Mine doesn't go on #5, it stays on #1. I'll do a double look to make sure.
