Fahrenheit flame height!

    The furnace is running but my flame height is very low, barely above burnpot! I was running on #1 for awhile and bumped it up to #2 to no better result. It's at #3 now and still barely see it over the burnpot! Temps are rising slowly in the house. I've adjusted the pellet quality to #3 which is for quality pellets(Cubex). I'm worried when the ash dump occurs and my fire will go out.

    Never worked on one,but the online manual shows 10 fuel settings,with the higher 3 settings for pellets.

    I just slightly cut back the air. Maybe burning up to fast.

    If this was used,maybe it needs thermostat jumper somewhere?

    Just based on your pic, that flame looks too rich.....needs MORE air. IMO. As badbob said, maybe a thermostat jumper missing, and stove is running on low setting?

    Will try to have a look for the missing jumper. Makes sense on running on low setting so tearing into the unit is in the works. Any idea where on the control board to look for missing jumper, or putting a thermostat on could remedy things up?

    I'd ask 343 as he has a manual unit as well. Mine is a Digital LTD readout.

    That's what it looks like on level 1
    Your furnace is not taking the command to go to any other level.

    Call Fahrenheit and ask for Matt Fitts. He is their lead Tech and is a great guy. He will get you on your way. If you want his email? PM me..

    343 should be able to help though

    I know a little about the old ones. I know they don't need a jumper. Your either in T-stat mode, or you're in Manual mode.

    I really wish I could help more. I really need to learn more about the older units.

    Then again? I don't know how the old units switch back and forth?

    You need to remove the control panel to find the 2 contact blocks for the T-stat wires/jumper (if it needs a jumper).
