So I finally got around to installing my furnace backdraft damper. I will ponder on a dual thermostat set-up but in the meantime I will leave it at one with the DPST switch.

Going to hit up the locals in a bit see what kind of deal I can work with them. I imagine they are sitting on a pile of stock after this warm winter!

For the Fahrenheit? Just Google 10" duct backdraft damper. Lots of different ones out there. But they are rather simple. Just operates on gravity.

When the furnace is running (blower on) the wings shoot straight up and opens up the duct. When the blower shuts off, the butterfly closes and Bo air can come back through. So when your A/C runs in the summer, you don't push air back through the furnace.

This is for my oil furnace I did. The Fahrenheit already has one installed when put in service.

Thanks Guys. I'll check online and with my local HVAC guys. I need some ducting work done anyways. I ripped a bunch down to do some plumbing work as the ducting was a mess to start with. I'll get them to add the dampers when then fix the pieces I torn down LOL.

Send a private message to member don2222 .....he knows a lot about "upgrades" to stoves, so I'm guessing he could help you out with correct part # and maybe a good deal on one.

I have a 4.5 rpm auger motor I had bought for my stove and it is just to much so if anyone is interested in it I will let it go.

Might be better to advertise it in the want/sell ads at the bottom of the forum menu. Too fast for the Fahrenheit furnace, I think it's a 2rpm auger.
