I must admit I check FHC more often and before checking FB for grandkids pics. It is about the only thing I like about FB is keeping track of the family. I find if you hide all the weird videos, 10 ways to find out your colour, newsfeed videos etc. they eventually quit showing up. Some of the animal videos are cute though. interesting it took 60 posts on this thread before the word beer showed up and even then it didn't derail the thread that far. We were missing will711 comments about beer.
I do not have the time or energy for that junk anymore. Good for you!!! Too many fools out there trying to bring others down to the pathetic low level they are at. Garbage, let them go.
I feel the same way. Years ago I used it politically, but things changed, pics and family only now, plus a few close friends.

But if that were a real Facebook post there would be pictures posted of everything....well maybe not EVERYTHING.
Probably everything if you knew some of the people I know. And that's just in real life not fakebook.
that is the best way to use it. I just block or delete those who want to go into political rants. I have to admit, I don't have friends that make catty comments on FB. Usually it is about the trips, kids, or cooking. and of course, the pets. Chit chat like we used to do on the phone, only this time with pictures. If I only want one person to see something, just use messenger. Perfect because it pops up on their cell phones. Most of my family no longer use land lines.
