From what I have seen the business pages are calmer than personal pages. On the other hand, bad customers could post bad stuff, so someone would have to watch it.
I agree. I've never had a page. I figure it must not be real important if you can't call or shot me a text about it. Well unless it's on here.
My father and husband both deleted their accounts. Not suspend or inactivate, but completely deleted.
it really doesn't matter,, whether you like it or not if you're in some kind of business you need to be on Facebook
I use FB everyday. I really like the messages part that will chim in just as if you sent a text to someone. Best way for invites to social events. Plus my kids post a lot of pictures on FB that I would otherwise miss. I hate the political junk and will unfollow anyone who makes a habit of it. There are a lot of old highschool friends on there. It has been an excellent way to see old pictures etc. Anything I don't want, just like a newspaper, I skip over them. There are a lot of groups that use FB like a forum. Take what you want and forget the rest.
Currently a member of 17 groups pertaining to vintage & new chainsaws, forestry, logging, arborists, tree climbing, various classic rock bands & other stuff. Some are viewed regularly, others not as much because of time restraints.
Thats what I did too. And it wasn't exactly easy to find a way to do it. And then got emails from fb for several weeks telling me what I was missing. they eventually stopped sending me their junk
hahahahaha, I do 4.5 million a year and belong to NOTHING. flip phone only. no angies no industry clubs, NONE. face to face or we dont do business. as far as facebook, if I haven't "friended" you since high school, take the hint I am not interested in being your friend.
What works for you might not for others. I went on at lunch today, found there are a few things I miss, so I'm glad I didn't delete my account, but also glad I'm not there as much too. Working well for me.
I assume you are talking about postings by people, but sometimes I get a hankerin' for bejeweled blizt. Fun stuff
By coincidence I have been peeking on Facebook, dragged there by friends. I wish I hadn't. Ages and ages ago, I joined when about 5 people from my college were members. At that time, Facebook was more of a directory. Then it became a place to find old friends. Then it became a place where people posted their daily routines. Now all the people from the witchy online forums (which they destroyed) have turned Facebook into a giant collective of witchy forums. Evolution is amazing. Just my daily routine thought for today. Lol.
Yes...I think I've lost a couple pounds. I check it maybe once a day at most for a quick check on what's goIng on. Just getting out of the habit of checking more frequently has taken some of my frustration away.
