Just cleaned everything from the back of the stove and up the chimney. Re siliconed all joints and getting ready to start up but I want to make sure I have my dip switch setting right. I looked at the board and it’s a rev E.

Cleaned everything like a always do and lit like a dream. Only thing is I noticed the right side never had a strong flame like the left

Then if it burns for a little while and I go in and stir the pellets up it turns into this

I did a while ago because no matter what it was pushing way to many pellets into the pot I mean the pellets were up to the second to last row of holes before it would even ignite. So by the time it burns pellets would be getting pushed off that were on fire

D-Mac0211 I hope the good cleanout clears everything up for you.

From what I read, a lot has been covered. I think I've actually learned a thing or two.
Now.. whether it sticks or not is another story.:picard:

Hope things run smooth for ya from here on out.

I'm hoping that either you had the cover under the burn pot off when taking the pictures (then replaced it) or that there is some sort of weird reflection in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. Sure looks as if there is at least a gap there, but probably an optical illusion because I don't seem to see it in the flame picture.

Sorry to hear of the continuing troubles.:hair:
Hard to 'like' a post like that.
Was hoping you had things sorted out and the headaches would be over.

Yeah idk what the hell is going on. Just put a new igniter, new burn pot with 2 gaskets and new combustion blower fan. All within the last 2 months. The draft test I did a month ago was right on. Just cleaned out all the piping today and chimney. I’m just tired of it. Had the stove like 5 seasons. Shouldn’t be happening.

Thank god we’re putting Mitsubishi mr. Slim ductless spits in this year. So if I get tired of the thing I don’t have to use it. Right now the pellet stove is our main heating source. We have electric base board heaters but they are horribly inefficient

As you said, right now you need the thing to work, as it beats the alternative of the baseboard heat.

    If'n ya smash it.. well.

Believe me, I've been the first one to bust something that isn't working right, but I never offered myself up as a prime example of patience in action.
