    Yep, got me half a squirrel tail in a Sassafrass once.
    If I know they're in there I'll usually just let them have the tree. Critters gotta live somewhere.

    Cut a Sassafras tree down once that had been top by a snow storm. It had a large what looked like a woodpecker hole up top as I was cutting I kept hearing what sounded like the kids next door playing. As the tree came down there was a very load screeching sound and as it hit the ground a small screech owl popped straight up out of the hole about 20'. Scared the crap out of me and him he flew over to a near by tree and gave me heck as I finished bucking up his home.

    When I was a kid we used to shoot and eat squirrels when we got them, my mom used to get pizzed when she would come home from work and I'd cleaning squirrels in the sink...... looking back now I probablly should have done that out back.:hair:

    Our 2 kid squirrel hunt.
    Saves ammo, one with a BB gun to shoot at the nest, the other one with a shotgun, when they come out, to take him out
