    Sure is. Nobody around here wants it, tons of pecan trees destroyed from Helene.
    We have more oak and hickory to deal with than time to get it done.
    Wish some of our northern neighbors were closer

    You could have hauled DUMP TRUCK loads of pecan home after Helene came through.
    This was a nice pecan grove of big mature trees on the way to Augusta, GA. Over half the trees were blown over. 20241206_135947.jpg

    I think pecan is one of the best bbq smoking woods.
