I've got a small airport 2 miles from me. I should check what they have. I don't want leaded fuel though. With saws and other outdoor power equipment you will end breathing in a lot, in a car not so much.
Yes boomstick and clemsonfor, I get both of ya.... Yes I know airports have it , I did mean can public but it... And yes I defineltyl don't want lead... I will say all my equipment is and has been running A-1 condition for years so maybe I should just do what I been doing LMAO....
Hi! Dad started burning wood back in the 70s. We lived in a drafty old house in Albany, and the gas bills were killin' him. In the 80s I worked on Ball State''s tree crew while I was a student. About 10 years ago I bought this place in between Farmland and Winchester, and it had a fireplace. Dad had wood going to rot on his place, so it was only natural to start burning again. And then I found FHC and the obsession began! Good lord all I need now is a bucket truck and I could go into business! How about you? Grow up in Yorktown? My first wife was a Yorktown girl. Her mom and dad were some top of the line people. I still miss them.
G&G sells "recreational gas" but it's 4.00 a gal. The co-op around the corner from them will deliver, if you have your own barrel or tractor tank. Don't know their price.
3 out of 4 of the closest gas stations to me carry 91 e-free. I actually added one to the pure gas site - Chapman's market on 104 started carrying it last year. It's strange to see the difference in availability in certain areas. There must be laws in place or something. Over 600 in N.Y. and 1 in NJ? I thought maybe cause I'm close to the lake, there was more demand for it from boating, but NJ's got the ocean?
NJ here and yeah only one on the site. We have a few racetracks too so there's gotta be some there. I'm 2 miles from the airport, 2 from the local racetrack and 4 from the local marina. I gotta be able to find some damm efree gas.
You know the more I read on this subject, the more I wonder who "tests" this non-ethanol gas.... I mean it's all coming from the same places makes a guy wonder...
Wow to wierd, my mom grew up in Albany went to delta...I grew up and still reside in Yorktown (gods country) LOL....yea sir, I have basically same story as you, my dad burned and sold wood, and I was oldest so I was ALWAYS helping him do something.... Just so happens I always kinda liked cutting, splitting, and stacking wood with him.....me and me lady got a place out in country about 3-years and I got an OWB and love every second of it... So I have always been burning or selling wood, along with having a Fulltime job....Got me a big ol pile of wood.... People always stop and say you have ALOT of wood, I simply say it's a good work out and I don't like to be cold LOL.... Truth to be told it's an addiction, and it hurts my back LMAO....
I would think with such concern and time effort spent looking g for e-free somone would have a tester. The only difference I have seen in e85 is a blend change in winter
Itd be one hell of a rip off, I'm not sure if they would get away with it depending on state and federal regulations. I know inspectors/testers test pumps and gasoline, but to the extent I don't know.
