OK, that is starting to look like a plan. If he can lower it to tailgate level, I can winch it onto the truck.

No trailer, unfortunately. But I am guessing the pickup will work.

Interesting, I assumed "lift gate" when I read that.

PS, nice job on your discounts :)

it gives you a much lower height to deal with. It's just harder getting that kind of weight down out of a pickup, but then again maybe your truck will line up to your porch or whatever u have
I bought my Stove used and it was loaded with the tractor at the guys house, into my trailer, Stove stayed in my trailer for 4 or 5 days covered, while I cleaned it up, painted it took out the old stov. When I was ready to install it I backed my trailer right up to the back deck, trailer hight lined up with the deck.
I used furniture sliders on the legs to slide it right out of the trailer across the deck into the Stove room, to the hearth.
My hearth is 12 inches high so, I used a farm Jack to jack up each side and put bricks under it, when I got it to the proper height then, with the furniture sliders under it I slid it back on to the hearth, then just took out the furniture sliders they were no good anymore but it didn't matter cuz they only cost four bucks.
Anyway just some ideas for you:)

Nope, never flown one of those whirlygig things. Sure would do the trick, but it would probably blow the roof off the house!

Does this come with an OAK? If not, any recommendations on where to get a deal? They are required in WA state.
