    Length was not my problem.Many years ago when i knew little about pellet stoves, got the Integra. Got "bad" pellets, tons of fines. Would run stove till it stopped,auger would be completely packed with fines/dust, have to scrape it out with a screwdriver. I think to this day there are only 2 screws holding the auger cover on,instead of 6,lol. Anyway, it killed the auger motor,but by that time I had researched and learned,had to screen that whole ton of pellets, but motor got very noisy, died the next year.

    If you have fines imo the pellets probably have moisture in them. Which makes them a lot tougher to break up imo. Layman’s opinion.
