Obviously i'm not running it until I get this fixed, which is unfortunate because it's probably the last below freezing day we'll have this winter. For starters it was filled with ash, which I believe is the purpose for the elbow. So I'll have to check that as part of normal maintenance from now on.

The vent pipe detached, looks like there was some sticky stuff holding it in. What is the standard protocol for fixing, is this a professional only job? Is the size the wrong for the pipe? I can put it back on, but it's barely held on. What do you guys recommend?

Are you saying that this piece was attached directly to the back of your stove??
This is just a cleanout tee that can be placed between any two pieces of the vent pipe.

Yes that cleanout T was attached directly to my stove, I would like to do it the right way if I can. I ordered the second adapter piece.

    Is this a DIY job?

You need the stove adapter , which allows the vent pipe to then be attached to the stove and yes it's a DIY job .

To do it correctly the new adapter should then be screwed to the stove with like 3 screws and make sure you seal it with hi temp sealer .

Awesome, just bought it. I'll clean the joint really good then apply this stuff. Let it cure according to directions. I have about a dozen bags to burn before summer.

Pete, do you have enhanced tracking protection turned on in a browser as your default?

If I do, and that's what's causing it to happen, it did it all by itself. One day I can see everything, the next nothing.....and I didn't changed any settings on anything. :loco:

So I had a bunch of really bad bags of pellets. Jammed up my auger motor and finally burnt it up. Paid the stupid tax and switched out my auger motor. Not a moment too soon too.

If your auger wouldn't break the pellets by itself, it was time for a new one anyway.
