    Oh No!

Getting evacuated and not knowing if your home will be there in the end is seriously stressful! I hope they all are out of harms way.

I was messaging with Rod, Evilroyslade, and he is ok. Sad deal all around though. Hope everyone there can evacuate.

Yes, thanks for the update Armbru84

It is really a mess around that area. To compound things, many folks will now look out their cottage windows and see mud rather than water. Downstream, can you imagine the mess with all the stuff floating downstream? And if that dam breaks at Sanford it will cause even more disaster. Makes me very happy I do not live in the area for sure but also makes me hurt thinking of all the people who lose so much.

It's bad up there, and they say that the water will continue to rise the next couple days

Picking up the pieces: Wixom Lake residents return home

the people downstream won't be getting back in their houses for a long time

While I feel terrible for everyone's losses, river valleys and flood Plains are called that for a reason.

    Stay safe

2020 is really bringing heartache to a lot of people. I'm sure some people in economic hardship took a gamble and let the insurance lapse.
