    I've had bear meat 3 times in my life. I swore, never again. Each time I tried it I could hardly believe that even a dog or wolf would even eat that stuff.

    im not sure tbh... but all of them are never out at same time. Theres 5 does there, they always have 1, but often 2 fawns.. so lets say 50/50... 2 of them having 2, and 3 having 1 fawn. So theres 12 next year that we can count, but I know theres more.

    That field is part of our income. The more they eat, the more we loose. However, its no secret I enjoy hunting them and never want to eliminate them.

    I would describe it as a cross between beef and pork. My son got one last year and absolutley loves it. Like all game it needs to be well taken care of for the best table fare.

    Smoked a doe this afternoon. 10 yards from the stand, she only went 10 yards further and crashed.
