I’m sure if you’re out there as much as I know you want to be, you’ll get every last one of those beauties!!!!
Big old rutted up sika stag from the swamp this morning. He decided to chase the wrong hinds this morning!! Chasing tail has gotten us all in trouble a time or too... the level of trouble just varies doesnt it!
Congrats on all you have harvested so far this year especially a great stag! Any plans on having it mounted?
This is from a trail cam a few nights ago. At the time of this picture, I was sitting to the left of there waiting and hoping. At that point where he is would be about 65 yards from where I was. Sadly, I only got to watch the show.
Maybe, that would make some very special memories, for sure. Tell Miz Judy we said hi from GA. Hope you both are feeling better, and her fractured tailbone is healing.
Too bad Sav as that's a dandy for sure.Hope your back in the stand right now and not playing on the goofy pute.
Season starts for me Saturday with Pa. Muzzleloader for doe. Then the same the next Saturday. 11/2 starts NY crossbow-with Sunday hunting and Veterans Day, I'll be able to get 5 days in if I get enough work done around the house. Then NY rifle season starts, and 2 weeks later PA rifle starts. Have high hopes-have a buck tag and 3 doe tags in PA(cousin owns a farm and gets DMAP tags)and a buck tag, 2 doe, and a mz/crossbow tag in NY. Won't fill them all even if I can, but hope to shoot 4 or 5 for the freezer.
You sound like you're going to busy over the next 6 weeks lol. I have a PA firearms license and NJ archery and firearm. I'll be able to hunt from mid-Sept through the end of Jan 2020. PA pheasant opens next weekend. I'm looking forward to getting out for them this year. Wasnt able to go at all last year. BTW I'm looking for a PA Long Rifle replica for muzzleloader (Ive never shot a muzzleloader but I'd like to get into more traditional hunts). Any suggestions on kits or makers?
