Plus oddly enough... That use to be local Efco dealer up the street... Spent more time arguing with customers on the phone. People couldnt understand that they were Efco and not Echo ! Lol. Now they handle Echo only :). Ive said for awile now... Watch out for Echo.. They are rising to the top to compete !

Might as well carry both Lol ! I tell ya. They almost had me sold on... I think it was a 156 ? Nice power to weight. Just didnt feel right in my hands. But i wish i would have got to try it or the smaller ones out. What needs to happen.... Is we need some saw dealers to come to out GTG's and let us try a few of these saws out. Could spread the good word alot quicker ! Even do a saw raffle. Send me a nice light 50cc or smaller saw that i can test out. Ill do an honest review compared to Husky and Echo at least !

Its no secret that im a Husqvarna guy ! But... Ill also give credit where and when its due. I had a Dolmar 350 that was a great saw. Tough and high power. My buddy has an early Stihl 044 that makes me want one ! Or 2 ! Ive had a Stihl 170...180....021. Although not a Stihl guy... Those little Stihls will always have a spot on my shelf and on my wood wagon ! My 50cc Huskies will always be my favorite all around saws.
Send me an Efco and change my mind !! I double dog dare ya LOL :)

Shane, just my opinion from someone who spent a few years in the OPE business, but I would look at bringing Dolmar on board. Better brand recognition, a great product line-up, and a better reputation as far as dealer support goes. I ain't seen one in a box store yet if you don't count the Makita branded saws.

Sound advice ! Dealer support has sky rocketed too ...which was why they took so long to get a better reputation . And which is why Efco dealers come and go . If a fellas gonna spend $200 to $1000 on a saw....hes gonna buy one with a good name...and with confidence that the dealer he bought it from will still handle them/repair them 5,10,15+ years down the road !

I agree with what your saying but I like to be the only one working on my saws I learn alot more , feel better and save money. Unless its sent to one of the builders. That I would like way more someday:yes:

Efcos must be pretty good saw because the best aftermarket cylinders and pistons( Meteor )come from Italy right.

That'll teach ya for buying a Stihl LOL !! You know seriously, for alot of us guys its not such a big deal for dealer support. I like going to my guy because I learn a ton.. And i like to bs. :). But a lot of parts for the Husky saws can be gotten online... And fixed on my work bench !
And i dont wanna jinx myself by saying that ived never taken a saw back for warranty work :). But its true.. Its never happened to me....Knock on firewood !

I was offered the dolmar line and have been thinking about it. May go with them as well. The brands I've sold in the past to my customers will always be serviced as long as I can get parts. Customer loyalty as a dealer is important to me.

All the Efco saws I have run have been good running saws. I have only seen 2 or 3 dealers in the area I live in and they didn't last very long. I think they have a good product but not much name recognition.

One of the ecfo dealers on my site that no longer sells efco. He took the efco 7200 out for a spin. This guy was a professorial logger for 30 years or so and very trusted by me. Also raced saws. Meaning he knows how to run a saw.
7200 suppose to be equal to the 372 old school. He stated the 7200 couldnt even keep up with the husky 365 special.

Dolmar over Efco as a dealer would be a no brainer IMO.

No Efco around here. I've only seen one Dolmer, at a flea market.
I've read on another thread that Efco really stuck it to the dealer network in terms of warranty reimbursement/support.
I have always done business with the same dealership, an Amish guy, and I am a strong proponent of supporting local business. He has always been an A-number one guy.
Good luck with Efco, lets hope their latest business model benefits you and yours.
