30.00 gets you a lot of knife.
The excellent shealths alone with danglers are worth 30.00

Bought one a long time ago. Liked it so much I got a fancy version. I carry it more than any other. Made in USA :usa:

I have the Ken Onion Leek as well and really like it, but this little guy seems to end up going everywhere with me nowadays, and does most everything for me from opening boxes to cleaning small game.

My brother in law has been buying kits from Woodcraft for the “Camillus Titanium HT-7” knife. It’s just a blade blank and the user makes the handle inserts for it.

He gave me this one this weekend, with ambrosia maple handle inserts. It’s not an expensive knife but I like it’s size and shape and how it wears on the belt at the hip.

I bought one of these (940-1601) a few years ago. I have a few Benchmade knives and even though all are great knives and well made, the 940-1601 was absolutely flawless. Unfortunately, it is so darn pretty, I rarely carry it and usually carry the regular green aluminum 940 instead. A lot of people grumble about Benchmade using D2 steel instead of a super steel but Benchmade's D2 is second to none.

I bought a couple of sencut Sceptre's they were on clearance for 21.99 IMG_20231017_153851.jpg
They are quite a bit smaller than my sencut sache IMG_20231017_154002.jpg
They are like gentleman sized pocket knives.

Was thinking of selling my 940-1, but have been carrying it for a few weeks and like the feel in my pocket so gonna keep it. Reason I was thinking of selling was that it’s a bit fancy for EDC…like if I ever lost it that would suck. Thought about getting the green 940, but it’s now priced nearly around what I paid for the 940-1 a few years ago.

You made me look up the 940 knife, cause I'd never heard anyone talking about selling a knife like that. I've never had, nor contemplated having, a knife that costs that much. I'm in the bushes too much...loosing it would be a high probability, and the odds of that seem to be based on how much the item costs...

Yeah I really got into knives a few years back. I got my Spyderco Delica for real daily use. Still love that one. Figured from now on that I would spend money on chainsaws and stuff

Ya only live once. I carry mine on a semi-regular basis in rotation with 3 other knives. Ever consider a deep carry clip? Maybe that’ll give you piece of mind it won’t accidentally come out of your pocket.
