I have a homemade paddle strop I have been using since my teens. Denim with white jewelers rouge on one side and leather on the other.
I bet she's happy with all that special treatment! Not to many go the extra mile of stropping anymore.
Found the Uncle Henry. Purchased the same day for just a few bucks. This one is about 90% due to a small spot of corrosion on the brass. Never been resharpened. Made in USA before they went global. I wear this one occasionally with my good pair of jeans and a Pendleton wool shirt.
I should have said "my one good pair of jeans" I hate wearing any thing but jeans and my Wif is always upset because I have only one "presentable (her words) pair". All the others are work worn and comfortable! Women make an inordinate amount of fuss over worn fuzzed threads, Doug Fir sap, deck stain or a bit of grease or grass stains on a pair of pants. Go figure?!
Bought myself a few birthday presents I've had this buck woodmate since 1988 The walmart had them for 20.00 I wish I'd had bought a bunch of them Nice one's are bringing good money.
I get a new knife as a gift for Christmas every year..usually because I break off the tip of my old one using my knife as a pry bar or screw driver. This knife...a cheap Ozark trail..has been one of the best ..toughest knives I've ever had. Keeps a sharp edge too ! You can tell by the faded camo..its in my pocket 24/7 !

I'm done buying knives I've gifted 5 so far I didn't want to keep Here's another nice fixed blade Eafengrow 124 that I'm keeping It has the best sheath I've seen it's very secure you have to pop the knife out That 14c28n is a new to me steel But has taken an excellent edge with a diamond steel.
My brother took it and had it engraved? Made in WV is on it now He never asked me where it came from I just told him it was handmade He lives in Florida and is taking it home.
Picked up a Kershaw leek for myself and the wife, which is a vast improvement over my now edc pictured. I like the open assist and pocket clip. I have carried pen knives or a knife on the belt but it is a hassle. I lost one of these many moons ago in a hay loft. Got done loading 400+ bales and it was somewhere in the hay.
