I have acquired a bunch of custom/semi-custom hunting knives over the years. When it comes to processing game or EDC fixed-blade, I always seem to come back to my Hendrix knives. Wayne studied under George Herron and lives in S.C. He uses ATS-34 steel.

My EDC. Flashlight hoarding is a much bigger problem for me than knifes.

Lost my edc that I had for 20 years. Looked for over a month but still have hope it will turn up. Decided to get an old stock Cold Steel Recon-1 before new production starts under their new ownership. It is about as big as I'd ever want to edc, but surprisingly it is not any more noticeable carrying than my old Gerber E-Z Out was. I always have preferred edc on the larger side, at least that way I could say I have one thing that is big in my pants. 20210110_165951.jpg 20210110_165932.jpg

    Thought I'd bump this-
Have a new Kershaw on the way. Launch 13 auto. 2.5 oz, so 'ought to be good for concealed carry. Anyone have or use one?

My sister in law has a second hand store she calls The Trading Post in the Black Hills and she had a fellow stop in wanting to sell a bunch of Spyderco knives. I bought 5, yes 5. Could not say no with the price she was asking.... I'll get some pics loaded in a bit.

Not even sure of the models just yet. These are my first Spyderco's and not super familiar with them. There is a Pacific Salt with H1 steel, a couple Enduras and 2 that are made in China apparently. The others all say Seki City, Japan.[IMG][IMG]

They look legit but the knock offs are so well done anymore it can be hard to tell. At $10 per knife I had to do the deal, real or not.

I know this is an old post but it's funny I just recently bought 3 new flashlights :D

    1 :
    2 : Ultra-Compact 750 Lumen Rechargeable Magnetic Floodlight
3 : 390 Lumen Magnetic Slim Bar Folding Work Light

These lights from harbor freight are really nice they are not your average harbor freight cheap crap, strong magnets, they stay where you put them on metal.
I used both of them at the same time recently putting four new shocks on truck
    Let there be light :dex:

I carried a buck 110 for a long time and I loved it. More recently, I started carrying a Swiss army knife for no better reason than a blade and a screwdriver in one package.
I don't love the Swiss army knife but it has a phillips and that has saved me many trips to the basement.

I saw this custom-made knife posted on an outdoor/hunting forum. It has to be one of the most beautiful, crafted knifes I have seen. I love the dark stag handle and Damascus steel combo. I wish Santa would have dropped one off at my house this year. :D

From time to time I will set my knife down and not remember where for a period of time. This is not losing it. Losing it is different.

The amount of time has gone on long enough that I felt like I needed to order a new knife to hold me over until I remember where I put it.

My current Kershaw Link was great so I figured I'd order another....not to replace it...just to use until I remember where I put the current one.
