Yep and yep.... It's big but still very manageable. Maybe that's why I haven't lost it yet. I'm bad at losing them. This is my longest living one...

Have been using this Timberline Kelly Worden for a number of years. Good steel, well balanced, easy to open...
I'm LEO and consider it part of my uniform.

They are giving all the trainees a "hook" knife with a rounded tip. Its about as sharp as a butter knife maybe worse. Darndest looking thing. I'll get a pic sometime its pitiful. The big glove push now is kevlar lined leathers. Lets baby everyone. Plus we use bolted connections so you can imagine the fun of cutting tape. Thankfully I still have mine and a few extras.

My go to is the Benchmade Griptillian with the Axis lock. A true 1 handed knife. Nothing can be shut down so everything is done hot and when clearance is an issue I still use the old Klein knife. 42 years in the business, only 3 months from the end of a long career with no regrets.

Thanks man for now we can still order them. If you work for the company I think you do you might want to get a few extra before the "takeover".

Here is the endura. They are surprisingly tough and smooth. Easy to open with one hand, even with gloves on. 20140717_200315.jpg

I like sod busters... especially the ones made by queen. They are called country cousin. I just can't carry a knife that doesn't lock. And I've grown fond of larger knives. As long as they are thin and have a pocket clip the length doesn't really matter.

That's what I've got. I quit carrying a knife that clipped in my pocket when I had one fall out and hit on the way down and open and about stab someone at work. Harnesses will pull them out.

I'll post pics and a review here when it comes in. It will be my new EDC. I like the "pocket open" feature, seen in the video on the link I posted. We'll see how functional it really is.

I personally love spyderco knives. Back when I was diving I had 3 spyderco atlantic salt knives. They are rust proof blades and are a life saver down under the water. Left one in the ocean for 2 weeks one time and got it back and not a speck of rust on it. Was given a military automatic open spyderco but that got lost hunting a while back.

And this is the one I am trying to find. Its rust proof as well.
