Widen the ex a bit more. Close to 60% of the bore just left a burr finish when I decide I'm done playing I'll smooth it out.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

When you say needs more blow down what are you referring to? Raising and or opening the exhaust port to let it out sooner and faster?
Might I say this is some awesome work!!! Wish I had some skills like this I’m more of a 4lb hammer repairman :loco:  :D

The time the exhaust port is open before the transfers start to open.

More time to clear the exhaust gasses.

The combination of dropping the jug, added more intake duration. Didn't change the ex much. But that needed to come up anyway. The long stroke/rod ratio really worked well on the transfers.

Would really like to get them around 120, then take em back up if needed.

Going to put some time on as is for now.

    Thank you.

I have seen a couple different saw dyno's.

Thought about making one. But was going to be pretty costly.. sure would be nice to have.

Is there room to go more than 60% on the exhaust with the 268 piston? Nice build Joe.

No, the exhaust tunnel/flange is just other 65%. The skirts would allow almost 70% just wouldn't be a exhaust flange left. Just a hole in the side of the jug lol.

If this saw just had a normal exhaust port, I believe it would be that much better..

Maybe I'll just have to bore/replate the cylinder to get rid of the ring at the top lol. Get it up around 78cc...

Nah, its just a firewood saw. Sounds fun, but not very practical.
