So I got the last couple parts today to shore up this project. Can you guess what 2 parts are new to this saw ? Before... After.... Now I'm broke.....back on the shelf....done !
That 13,000 can be thrown out the window now that it has a muff mod.. Tune in wood. Four strokes out of wood and cleans up in wood!! That's the ticket!! My stock 440 can turn over 15,000 with the muff mod now and it's still four stroking hard out of the cut!!
I recently purchased a near mint cs 520 and would like to do a muffler mod. However i can not find much info on the procedure. I would greatly appreciate pictures and info on the mod. Thanks Ron
those 520's always ran the best they are a closed port clamshell design but they will run with more expensive saws. ported this saw will kiill a 346 xp.
When modifying your Echo cs 520 did you open up all the baffle holes? I took my cs 520 muffler off and could only reach the closet ones.
