Im sure I've done that at my Disney cut. I have three 20" bars that I cant seem to get cutting straight even after dressing them!

I buy those chains and cut off the extra raker and shorten to whatever length I need. 36 inch 05 kind odd. Stihl is the most durable Which is important for me here in the desert

Just to add my two cents in - I ordered five 25" chains on March 18th. They were a little slow to get them shipped, and then USPS did their let's-run-it-all-over-the-country-to-random-places routine that they do with about 30% of my packages these days. But they finally did arrive today, and I couldn't be more pleased. Their was a free extra chain in the package (I messaged the seller and offered to pay, but he said they'll do that sometimes if you order several).

None of these chains have been damaged, although some have been used until they were dull and warm (they have sap cooked onto the cutter teeth), but some are sharp enough to go to work with as-is. The duller ones were a little gritty too, and will need a diesel bath, but with a little cleanup and a normal round of sharpening I will have six nice Stihl chains for $70 - less than $12 a piece. My only reservation is the extra "bump" for kickback prevention, but if this works as well as the similarly-designed Oregon LPX chain then I'll be well pleased.

Thanks again to Eric for pointing out this deal. It's a great value.

Great to hear you made out well with this seller too. I haven't run any of mine yet but probably will in the coming weeks (I have to get my 395XP back together first)
