We were very lucky to catch a 7am boat to Labrador and returned early evening,, not much to see there,, very barren and bleak.
That is where we saw our first berg,,, i collected some ice from a berg on the beach and brought it all the way home to Tulameen,, me and SIL enjoyed it with some good whisky. We did out trip starting last week of april,, did not need reservations for anything.
We did Van island 2 years ago,, i worked the mine for a short time in Hardy

We were too late to see icebergs. With the warmer weather, they aren't staying around that long We started our trip May 13 and spent some time in Grand Forks before really heading across. It was a shock in June to find we had to wait 6 weeks for our first ferry reservations to NFL. Definitely not BC Ferries.
Visitors to NFL have been increasing over the years but especially since 2021. A lot of US license plates we saw.
