    Storm; the storm that moved through my old hometown had a chit load of lightning, I'm sure Gasifier had it close by so be careful anyone to the east of us.

    This happened at the State Park in Waddington NY which is about 15 miles from Massena.

    We had a passing shower this morning. Got some painting done on the porch. Things drying up, finishing house (hopefully) before some very nasty storms arrive tomorrow (Sunday) with the chance of tornadoes.......

    Unfortunately a young boy was killed about 20 minutes southwest of me recently during a strong storm. He was at a youth camp when a strong storm broke out and the way it sounds everyone scattered for shelter when a large tree fell and crushed him. I believe 13 other children were injured as well. Just shows how strong mother nature can be.

    The east is expected to get whalloped late this evening to early mon morning. Conditions will make tornadoes likely. I hope nothing forms. Keep safe folks!

    Thunder and lightening here now. Had sunshine this AM. Rain for the next two days. Was able to run the lawn tractor and got much of an very overdue mess taken care of.

    South of Rochester NY is getting rained on hard, it looks like it's just sitting and spinning, they backed our rainfall totals down to an inch from an 1.5.

    Holy crap did it rain hard, just glad I wasn't on the road driving, we had some wind but nothing bad.

    It looks like our area will stay unsettled through Sunday.
