I am burning mostly EAB killed Ash for the past winter or two. I'll be doing the same for the next few years, if not longer. There is so much dead and dying Ash here that most of what I scrounge is Ash.
Yeah, I cut down a couple EAB Ash trees last fall. The trunk wood got split and stacked into the rotation. The branch wood was super dry (almost staring to punk a little) and is part of what I am burning right now. It lights and burns like its kiln dried
