Yes, also used as deicer. Holds moisture in the dirt because it’s so hydroscopic. This keeps the dust bound. I don’t think it would hold too much moisture to cause a problem with the stacks. I could grab some cheap deicer at the hardware store here at the end of the season and broadcast some on this bare floor. Thanks VA.
