Soooooo, have a load of Spruce rounds out in the drive on a pile of Spruce and Norway Maple wood chips!!! Camera is charging!
1st pic, just dumped onto a huge heap of chips. The chips are Norway Maple from Saturday, and Spruce from yesterday. 2nd pic, the Spruce rounds stacked up neatly. There was about 8 or 9 bonus rounds of some sort of Maple in there too.
I need to get working on getting a stove! Now that I am getting in good on this tree service crew I will be getting tons of wood and chips.
Oh yeah another thing, I like when I am there working when they are taking down trees with wood I want... because I can dictate how long I want the rounds cut! All those Spruce rounds are 16-18", I hate the super short rounds.
Another load of Spruce was just dumped at my house. Tree dude needs to drag the splitter over, I am getting buried!
Wow, where have I been? Not much has changed in my stacks, but I finally might get more than a branch of oak! I remembered I saw some logs down in the hollow pushed off to the side of the road. It was from a tree that looked like it fell across the road and was just cut and moved out of the way. They have been there for about three weeks now. I stopped to check it out and it is oak! Gonna head back with my saw and maul and load those BTUs into the old ZJ. Well, after the humid heat subsides... Wood!
