Thanks Erik, I am very lucky to have gone thru this massive hurricane with no issues. Three years ago I was flooded with 52 inches of water from Hurricane Harvey but managed to get thru this one without any damage. I feel very sorry for the folks east and north of me who are in the path of this monster. I have not been able to sit and watch the Weather Channel to see what Laura is doing in northern Louisiana and Arkansas but I fear they will be in serious danger.

Thanks again to everyone for their thoughts and prayer during this hurricane.

Thanks to both of you for caring, I'm fine and completely back to normal after Hurricane Laura. After watching the Weather Channel I was able to see just how lucky people in my area of Texas were to have missed a direct hit from Laura. It's very sad to see the total devastation people are dealing with in parts of Western Louisiana. September 1st will make the peak of 2020 hurricane season and believe me I'm ready for it to end now.

Looks like Laura is still causing havoc in Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky, then hitting Virginia and the East Coast over the weekend.

Thanks Eckie for the kind thoughts..... I hope this is the end of the 2020 hurricanes...Delta is the 10th named storm to make landfall in the continental US this year - the most in a single Atlantic hurricane season on record! I have been getting rain and small winds all day long but nothing like my neighbors in Louisiana are dealing with. Hurricane Delta, a 100-mph Category 2 hurricane, made landfall Friday at 7 p.m. EDT near Creole, Louisiana I know the people in Lake Charles La. are going thru another mess right now.
