Welcome Bill2! Fellow NHite here, in Nashua. What part of the state are you in? I have a little beech to burn this winter, just sapling wood though, some too skinny to split. Looking forward to trying it out. You are fortunate to have a wood dealer that will let you pick and choose.

Hey Midwinter-Bedford here. Yes I am lucky that my wood dealer will let me choose but not sure how much longer I will be able to do it. He is almost ready to retire and is winding down his operation a little each year. He'snot taking any new customers because I gave his name to a couple and they told me that he has all that he can handle. Bummer.

The old guys are the best! Can't help you with dealers, I scrounge all my own wood.

If he's winding down maybe he could use some help with his resources.

Hi Bill2 , welcome to the forum :handshake: Great to have you join us! Beech, great firewood. Dries in a year. I have some for this season I CSS in April. Cut from fallen tree in May 2018 tornado here. Cut some green in August too. That is for 2020-21!
