LOL its sitting here mocking me, plan on really looking it over next fall, still baffles me on what is going on with that stove and no one can give me an answer.
I even considered building a different baffle for it but not sure what to do.

Mostly just putting the money down now when "winter is almost over". I can see her point but when there's that sort of sale going it's hard to ignore.

I finally got a look at the Myriad at a Menards today and so I can see what Huntingdog1 was talking about, for example how the tubes and the baffle are different than my present Eastwood 1800 is. I like the way the door latch works on it too. They are asking $700 for it. That's a lot of cash to my less than $10k a year retirement income but if they run a one year no interest on there card I might pick one up and make it my main stove and put my Eastwood in the basement for when I work down there. My only problem is figuring out how to put it in downstairs since the chase is closed up now and even if I could drop class A down through it there's a wooden platform that I left in it that would block it from going through. Bummer!

I was trying to decide how much to spend on kitchen cabinets at Menards. They said they match Home Depot 1 year no interest that they run most the time.

I ended up cutting the cabinet order down instead, but it was nice they mentioned that to me.

Menards does run their financing specials often. I was just looking for the ads in the recycling bin but I'll have to look online to see what they have going. I did see that they had a 11% rebate on anything that ended on 1/24. That would have been nice to get it for $625!
I have -8 F and it's been dropping steady from our -1 high since sunset. This is when the wood stoves really shine!

So this just happened to me! I convinced the wife that my plan was sound. She's a smart woman.

Congrats my friend!!! That is a wise investment! Good burning stove based on the members who own one.

Our current Lopi Answer is a pedestal model and either I'm used to it or I prefer it but I think I like it :) Just a tad more modern of a look maybe?

Sam , are they charging shipping?
You should be real happy with that stove.
    When do you expect it?

I am probably too old to like the looks of a pedestal.:)
I do think you will like the stove as they work very well.

It's free to ship it to a menards near me so I chose that option, about 18 miles away. No word on a pickup date yet.

This is just slightly earlier than when I ordered my NC30 last year.
You should have some time to use it and get used to it somewhat.
